The difference between blister film and covered doors
2024-03-21
Blister film and covered doors are similar, so what is the difference between blister doors and covered doors?
1. Different production techniques
Blister door: The PVC film is vacuum-adsorbed on the door panel, generally without edge sealing process. Covered door: The polymer color film is adsorbed on the surface of the product 360 degrees in all directions, and there is an edge sealing process.
2. Different appearance
Blister door: There are gaps around it, and the colors on the front and back are inconsistent. Cladding door: The six sides of the door are the same color and there are no gaps.
3. The materials are different
Blister door: The door panel is usually density board. Cladding door: The door panel is usually solid wood or multi-layer board.
4. Different coating thicknesses
The thickness of the blister door film will be thicker than that of the clad door.
5. Different performance
Blister doors are easy to crack and deform, but covered doors are not easy to deform. Generally, clad doors use a 360-degree cladding process, which has better waterproof and moisture-proof properties and is less likely to crack and deform due to moisture.
6. Different prices
Cladding doors will be more expensive than blister doors because the process of cladding doors is more complex and the cost is higher.
